ABC... Design modernariato di mano in mano

The Alphabet of Design in 25 icons (and a few more)

From 16 to 24 April, on the occasion of the Fuorisalone, Di Mano in Mano will exhibit, in the setting of its spectacular showroom in viale Espinasse 99, a collection of some of the most significant pieces in the history of Design, from the 1950s to the 1980s.

“The alphabet” presented is the ABC with which the history of modern furnishing that balances form, function, aesthetics, mass production and artisanal knowledge was written.

The works that will be exhibited have become true icons over time: from the Camaleonda Sofa by Bellini to the D 70 by Tecno, from the Arco Lamp to the Parentesi Lamp by Castiglioni, from the LB7 Bookcase to the Cicognino by Albini, from the Elda Armchair by Joe Colombo to the Chaise Longue by Le Corbusier... these are just some of the 25 creations you can find at " ABC…Design”.

The exhibition itinerary, designed in collaboration with the designer Andrea Ghisoni founder of Studio Intervallo, enhances each work and leads the visitor through the stages of a journey into the recent past of Design.

In the busy agendas of those participating in the Design Week, it is also worth scheduling a detour to "ABC... Design", to get back in touch with the roots and essence of a story that never stops evolving and is, today, more intricate that never.

We are waiting for you in Milan, in viale Espinasse 99!
