Exemplary in excellent condition, contained in a canvas box with leather edge: traces of dust and minimal signs of wear on the upper edge. Full leather example with decorations and titles in pure gold on the spine with five raised bands and impression in pure gold on the front plate: streaks and scratches on the plates and spine. Very well preserved papers and plates. Present red fabric bookmark in excellent condition. Ex libris Marcello Pietrantoni engraved metal plaque applied to the colophon. Volume and slipcase are contained in a cardboard box with titles on a paper insert applied to the front plate: dust spots, brown spots and signs of wear, but overall in good condition. Inside, on the bottom of the box, there is a portion of polystyrene. Text in Italian language.

Description

Fine edition of 1999 numbered copies with personalized copies. 113 color plates in original format and 380 pages of text printed on special 150 gram Cellini-type paper from Cartiera Valsugana. The photocomposition of the text in the Times font was carried out by Grafica Due of Milan. The photolithography of the plates and the printing were carried out by Gally & Thierry of Milan. The hand binding, in whole leather, with pure gold impressions, was carried out by the Recalcati Brothers of Sesto S. Giovanni. Finished printing in Milan in April 1985. Copy No. 1605. This edition reproduces in full the manuscripts of Leonardo da Vinci from the Royal Library of Windsor. Of Anatomy. Sheets A, published by Teodoro Sabachnikoff, transcribed and annotated by Giovanni Piumati, Paris 1898 and Sheets B, of the same series, published in Turin in 1901.
